Kick off the Best Rivalry with PS3 Madden 10 Battles

With a high-intensity soundtrack, PS3 Madden 10 players will get even more for their gaming dollar. The past few years have seen the soundtracks becoming an integral facet of the games, and Madden is leading the pack. PS3 Madden 10's soundtrack brings the right level of intensity, as well as a great mix of newer and older songs ("older" being a relative term here, of course). If you're not convinced, check out PS3 Madden 10's roster of songs: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

If all those features and upgrades haven't convinced you that PS3 Madden 10 is a masterpiece, then perhaps a trip through the sports video game timeline will. Yeah, it may be a little much to rave about a current day game at the expense of the earliest football video games. Once you've given the older football video games the once-over, you can grasp why people are drooling over PS3 Madden 10. At the dawn of video game consoles, one of the top requests from every hardcore gamer was a football video game for their system, naturally. The downside was, the gaming technology wasn't quite up to speed yet, so video football fanatics had to settle, in a big way. In any ads or promos, the manufacturers of this one insisted "all the excitement" of the genuine article. Competition was nonexistent, so this one was a huge hit for the biggest video game console in the day.

Those players don't even look human. There's no getting around that one You think that photo looks limited, you should see the gameplay itself. Technology was so inadequate back then, that every moving player flickered to the point where you could barely see the action. There's just no way to try an explain how lousy the sound was. And worse, the screen didn't even scroll. Within a couple years, things would pick up slightly, with a competing console developing a football video game. It was yards better than that first one - people looked a bit more like people, the players no longer flickered, and gamers got their scrolling screen. Still needed work, though. The video game world was certainly jazzed when that was released, but it wasn't exactly the gold standard. That wouldn't come until several years down the line. This next one reaped the benefits of the 8-bit gaming revolution, and people still rave about it to this day. For a long time, it was the gold standard by which football video games were held. Makes sense that it was so revered by the hardcore gamer - it really was the first true attempt to recreate the NFL. Everything - sound, visuals - got such a major upgrade that this was the final word in sports video games. Judging by its online revival, people still enjoy it today in small doses. That being said, PS3 Madden 10 still blows it away. Take a look at it, after taking in all of those older games.

We've come a long way, and you, along with football video games, have been the largest beneficiary. But there's no purpose in ragging on the early games. No need to beat a dead horse. Those games, while archaic, got us to where we are today, and for that, they deserve their place in the video game hall of fame (though that first one may be better off in "video game hall of shame.") PS3 Madden 10 is in a whole different stratosphere than its predecessors, and for that, hardcore gamers have every reason to be stoked. Better yet, the reviewers share the same level of PS3 Madden 10 love as the fans, always a good thing. Reviews for PS3 Madden 10 are filled with praise such as "realistic and enjoyable." EA Sports has sacked all the competition with PS3 Madden 10, to nobody's surprise.

There's no debating it - PS3 Madden 10 is an all-time great sports video game. Sure, we love all PlayStation sports video games, but PS3 Madden 10 stands at the top, as one of the best. In the video game world, PS3 football games begin and end with Madden. And it's where they separate the men from the boys, by letting you duke it out for some serious cash.

PlayStation Madden 10 aficionados now get to face off for big bucks. You'll be making touchdowns, and nabbing your foe's money, after you've educated yourself in all things Madden 10.
